Join us as we welcome back pianist Molly Ruggles and vocalist Will McMillan to Waterstone at Wellesley. Together, they will perform the beloved standards of American songwriter Cole Porter.

Born into a wealthy midwestern family, Porter came east to attend prep school in Worcester, MA. As an undergraduate at Yale, he wrote hundred of songs which are still sung today. After a year at Harvard Law School, Porter switched his focus to music, and by the age of 24 his first song had appeared in a Broadway show. After World War I, Porter never stopped composing, eventually finding fame on Broadway and in Hollywood, and his exuberant spirit lives on today in his extraordinary catalog of songs.

Molly and Will’s selections of Porter’s songs to feature include “Night and Day,” “Begin The Beguine,” “Don’t Fence Me In,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Just One Of Those Things,” “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye,” “I Get A Kick Out Of You,” “You’re The Top,” “Let’s Do It,” “It’s De-Lovely,” “Anything Goes,” and “Easy To Love.”
