My husband and I had to leave our former home abruptly and needed a place to live as soon as possible. Our friend came to our rescue and told us about her building, Waterstone at the Circle. We moved in, intending to stay temporarily, but discovered that we had found our home. The staff and residents have been warm and welcoming beyond our expectations, from the housekeepers and the concierges to the drivers, kitchen staff, and administrators. We enjoy the wide range of activities and amenities, with concerts, lectures, movies, the gym, the pool, and the social events. The cuisine is fabulous, like a five-star restaurant. The views of the reservoir and beyond are unparalleled. The location is convenient to downtown Boston, Cambridge, and surrounding towns. We can ask one of the Waterstone drivers or take the nearby Green Line. I moved in 3 1/2 years ago with my husband, and I am so glad I did. When my husband passed, I had a community that cared for and supported me. I have made friends with intelligent and interesting people. The life enrichment activities are stimulating and geared towards my interests. The staff and management are supportive and helpful. I just called my daughter Karen to tell her that tomorrow marks two years that I’m here. I told her, and I’ve conveyed the sentiment to many people looking at Waterstone, that I haven’t regretted one day of my move here! Much of that sentiment has to do with the physical facility, but even more is due to the wonderful staff, from the activities folks, the kitchen crew, the maintenance guys, etc.! I cannot thank you enough for what you and your amazing team have done for me. I am so much happier than I have been in 2 years. Every person I have met on the staff is amazing. The staff sets the tone of such positive energy, it is contagious!! My apartment is flooded with sunshine. Even Harper, my kitty, is basking in the sunshine as she perches on the many windowsills. I can see the “Prudential” building from my bed. I have never had such good food and when I answer my door, there is a smiling person, a new friend.
