Waterstone is a diamond in the rough! I am so pleased to have found this home for my mother. After a long hunt for a senior living community in the Boston area, I was thrilled to find Waterstone of Lexington. This place is 5-star in every way, the staff, the building, the food, the residents, the activities – it is vibrant, very social and always a treat to visit. We are very pleased with the meals you’ve been preparing for us. Frankly I was a bit apprehensive about having a new chef because our previous chef was very good. But all of my concerns have been completely allayed over the past several weeks! I’ve enjoyed so many of your dishes, but here are several that I found especially delicious. Veal Parmesan – superb; one of the best pieces of veal I’ve ever had. Old Fashioned Fish & Chips – just the right amount of coating, and a superb piece of fish inside. Spaghetti & Meatballs – a simple dish that can easily be poorly prepared; but your meatballs are great and the pasta had just the right texture. Corn Flakes Chicken Bites – surprisingly tasty because the idea of corn flakes never occurred to me for chicken. Filet Rockefeller Au Gratin – first time I’ve had this and loved it. Trout Almondine – my first trout; just absolutely perfect, especially with the almondine feature. Bison Salisbury Steak – I had often used Bison beef for making my own hamburgers, but your bison steak took this flavor and texture to a whole new level. LOVED ALL OF THESE SALADS, and I’m really not much of a salad-guy: Creamy Grape Insalata    Assorted Grapes in a Brown Sugar & Neufchatel Cream Strawberry Greek Salad Tomato Caprese Salad White Fish Salad – my favorite And we appreciate very much the trouble you go to in providing us with the weekly menus.  Thank you.
