Understanding Wandering & How to Help

Tuesday, April 22nd | 2:00 p.m.
Light refreshments will be available.
Wandering is a common symptom of dementia, often triggered by confusion, restlessness, or boredom.
When a loved one wanders, they may find themselves in unsafe environments, at risk of falls, injury, or becoming lost. Understanding what drives wandering can help families and caregivers put strategies in place to keep them safe while maintaining their sense of independence.
We’re here to support you and your loved one with memory loss. Feel free to bring them along—they can enjoy an activity with our life enrichment team while you attend the educational session at our community at High Ridge.
