Join us in the Waterstone Gallery to enjoy the ceramic pieces of Liz Rubin.

Liz has lived in Stamford, Connecticut for over 15 years. She was raised on Long Island, New York and began creating pottery in 1971 while in college at a local community arts center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Most recently, she has worked and studied pottery at the Clay Art Center in Port Chester and at Lakeside Pottery in Stamford {now closed) as well as other art centers during her travels while working for IBM as an architect.

Liz loves the tactile sensation of both making pottery and of the finished product. Her textures are as varied as her forms. Her desire is to create pottery that feels good and looks good. Each piece is one of a kind, designed with both hand-built and wheel-thrown techniques. Today, Liz is retired from IBM, and has sold her work through ETSY and many local craft shows.
