Waterstone on High Ridge invites you to enjoy the oil paintings by Ellen Thees.
After thirty years in a business career, Ellen was reunited with a spark for painting when she was invited to a local paint and sip event. Now retired, Ellen paints daily, and her style gradually developing into a mix of realism, surrealism and abstraction. Often, the subjects of each piece are created in twice the actual size.
Ellen Thees lives in Stratford CT with her husband and a cat. She exhibits primarily in group shows, libraries and cafés.
