Moving my mother back to New York from Sarasota, Florida, was a big change, but the team at Waterstone of Westchester made it an incredibly pleasant experience. Having lived in Riverdale and Westchester previously, she wanted to be back home, and they have made her transition into her new home so easy. The staff went above and beyond to introduce her to the lovely community of residents. She’s already playing Mah Jong and is even looking into joining a book club! We moved into Waterstone of Westchester about a week ago after investigating many other senior living communities nearby. This was a wonderful choice offering so many wonderful amenities. The staff is warm, caring, and compassionate. The team has guided us through a very challenging process with ease, always taking our calls and referring us to the appropriate person to help. My Mom is moving in here in a few weeks. I can’t say enough great things about the process so far. Everyone is very accommodating. We feel like family already. The pandemic left my mother feeling isolated and deprived of social interaction. As it turned out, Waterstone was the best prescription we could have hoped for. The staff is incredibly warm, engaging, and available, always with sincere smiles on their faces. We really feel part of a wonderful community, so much so that “Mom’s Place” has become a new destination for us- enjoying the company of other residents and staff in the various impressive and impeccably designed group spaces. In addition to making many new friends and sharing new experiences, mom now leads an active lifestyle and loves her beautiful new apartment.
