Lauren S. Freifeld, LCSW
Executive Director
As Executive Director, Lauren is responsible for overseeing daily operations and leading the Waterstone of Westchester team. She works closely with new residents and families. She treats everyone she meets with the highest levels of service by sharing details about the exceptional lifestyle that Waterstone is known for. Lauren strives to ensure all residents will have exactly what they need to feel healthy, engaged and secure.
Lauren earned her Master of Science in Social Work at Columbia University, where she also served as a Field Instructor to graduate students. She has over 25 years’ leadership experience serving New York City and Westchester County senior living communities, including independent living, assisted living and memory care. Lauren is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner®.

Rosanne Alfano
Senior Advisor
Rosanne Alfano joins the Waterstone team with over five years in the senior living industry and extensive background in marketing and event planning. As Senior Advisor, she provides helpful resources for seniors and their families in their search for the perfect community.
Rosanne is responsible for sharing the benefits of life at Waterstone of Westchester, including the luxury apartments, five-star amenities, boutique-style services and life enrichment opportunities that will be available to residents. She also builds relationships with local professionals to connect area seniors with resources and services to support their retirement goals.
Rosanne’s experience in event planning and customer service will be an immense value in helping to create smooth transitions for new residents at Waterstone. Prior to working for a senior living community in Ardsley, Rosanne worked as Director of Admissions at a senior community in Carmel, NY. Earlier in her career, she worked as Member Services and Marketing Manager for a country club in Elmsford where she worked to develop and market programs.

Abby Stenzler
Senior Advisor
Abby Stenzler brings over 26 years of experience to the Waterstone of Westchester team, having served in a variety of sales, marketing and operational roles in diverse businesses, including senior living. This experience makes Abby the perfect resource for seniors in their search for the ideal community.
As Senior Advisor, Abby will be responsible for introducing future residents to the premier apartments, high-touch services and exciting opportunities that await at Waterstone of Westchester. She will provide area seniors with the resources to support their lifestyle and wellness goals.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys skiing, yoga, music and travel.

Dean Brown
Area Community Liaison
As an Area Community Liaison, Dean supports the Senior Advisors at Bridges® by EPOCH and Waterstone communities in Connecticut and New York. Dean is responsible for building relationships with area professionals and organizations to coordinate support for seniors and families who are looking for living options or care for a loved one.
Dean joined the EPOCH Senior Living team in 2022. He has worked in the senior living and healthcare industries for more than 10 years. During this time, he made countless connections with doctors, hospitals, and organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association® in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He has a passion for helping seniors and their families connect with resources that benefit them and their loved ones.
Dean has always had a special place in his heart for service. Prior to working in senior living, he graduated from the U.S. Army Military Police program at Fort McClellan, Alabama, and received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from East Carolina University.
