From the first time we toured Waterstone at Wellesley to now, well into my Mom’s residency, we have experienced nothing less than the utmost care and consideration. From the waitstaff, maintenance crew, management, front desk, drivers, and the residents, Waterstone exudes a warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring environment. It means a lot. Thank you! – Mark, son of Waterstone resident

Our Mom was one of the first residents at Waterstone of Wellesley. She’s lived there for over 12 years. She loves it because there are always activities to participate in, and she enjoys dining with her friends. We, as her children, appreciate the wonderful attention they provide for her. We feel very safe and appreciative knowing that she is living in such a wonderful community.

My parents recently joined the Assisted Living community at Waterstone 3 months ago. Our family is very pleased our parents are in a safe and stimulating environment. We love visiting them and finding them both seated in the lobby by the fire, resting and awaiting the tea cart to arrive. The community is clean and well-run. My parents especially enjoy the food and activities. Having drivers available to take my mom on errands is monumental. We are very happy with the services rendered and the friendly staff.

Our parents enjoy Waterstone at Wellesley a lot. Most important, the staff is outstanding and that includes everyone from resident-facing caregivers to staff and their administrative offices too! I hear about how nice the dining is (and our parents are foodies too). The hearth is always on and seating in that area makes for such a nice place to relax. This facility is outstanding!

I have been fortunate to have lived at Waterstone at Wellesley for the past ten years. This sentiment is based on the great staff we have at both the office and at the dining venue. These are the foundations which have made it possible to foster a vibrant resident community which enjoys fellowship and fun.

What brings comfort, security and purpose to a senior residence has to begin with a well trained and welcoming staff. Here at Waterstone, we are gifted with women and men who reach out to all residents with immediate response to our needs and suggestions. At the front desk, in maintenance, programming and food service we have consistently had incredibly hardworking and reliable persons who light up our lives.

The building at Waterstone is ideal. The first floor is immediately available by two elevators to all residential apartments. There is a common area for visiting, complete with fireplaces and comfortable furnishings. There is a fitness room complete with workout equipment and an attached swimming pool, where trained physical therapists conduct daily classes and provide the opportunity of personal instruction.

Our dining area is fully staffed and permits residents to dine at dinner either by themselves or with their neighbors or guests. There is an attached bistro where small groups may enjoy chef-prepared meals, and a cafe for a casual breakfast.

First floor recreation is afforded at a substantial library with its own well-lighted reading area, and there is a card room with a jigsaw puzzle table available to all. Of particular note, Waterstone has its own movie theatre with comfortable seating and a wide screen. Residents may request films or select from the first-rate offerings of the programming staff.

Waterstone is charmingly located on the banks of the Charles River. A half-mile woodland trail along the river begins immediately outside the building at a courtyard with its own putting green. There are planting boxes to enable residents to grow flowers, vegetables and herbs.

To add to the atmosphere, Waterstone provides underground parking accessible by elevator. A nearby pharmacy and restaurants easily reached on foot complete this well-located and sumptuous residential community for seniors.

I have been a resident of Waterstone at Wellesley for eight happy years and I must say I feel one of Waterstone’s strongest assets is its staff. They are competent, engaged, caring and are always willing to go the extra mile. I feel protected and cared about which is so important at this stage of my life.

I am the COO of another Senior Housing Company (and have been in the industry for 25 years) who doesn’t operate in Massachusetts. I had to find an Assisted Living for my mom and step dad. I can tell you this is one of the best run communities in the industry.  From the Executive Director to the Head Nurse, to the dining staff, they truly know how to create an incredible experience for the residents. I have peace of mind that my mom is not only enjoying her life (she calls it a resort) but getting wonderful care.

Thanks for your updates and keep doing what you’ve been doing to keep us safe and engaged because it’s working. I’m blessed to call this home‼️

Mary, Waterstone Resident

I just wanted to say hello and thank you for your hard work you in the midst of this pandemic. Your agility to navigate this situation has been heroic.

You should be proud of how you have handled the COVID-19 crisis. Waterstone stands out as one of the best senior facilities in Massachusetts. It is so impressive. I’m sure you’re all exhausted emotionally and physically but I just wanted to express my gratitude for your professionalism and your thoughtfulness during these stressful times.
