Join us in the Waterstone Gallery as we explore the creativity of Dennis Stevens. As you get an up-close view of his work, you’ll hear firsthand more about his interesting life history, experiences and inspiration for his art.
About the Artist:
Dennis Stevens was born and raised in a tiny town in Iowa and earned a degree in commercial art, advertising and illustration from Drake University in Des Moines. While stationed in Alaska during the Vietnam War and later living in Hawaii, he was inspired to create paintings of the landscape, animals and natives. Dennis has held director positions at LOOK Magazine, among many others, and today lives and works in Cranbury, Connecticut.
