Book Club: Killers of the Flower Moon

Join us on Zoom with our Life Enrichment Director Vincent Farrell as we dive into our latest Book Club read. This is a great opportunity to meet new people online and participate in thoughtful conversations as we discuss this intriguing story.

This month, we are discussing “Killers of the Flower Moon” by Author David Grann. This book outlines a series of murders of Osage Indians between the years of 1921 to 1926 for access to their valuable shares of oil money. These murders were haphazardly investigated by various law enforcment officials until a young J. Edgar Hoover from the bureau of investigation – not yet known under its eventual moniker, the FBI – takes the lead and sends a former Texas Ranger to Oklahoma to investigate. The story details their work, including the enlisting of outlaw informants, to aid in the investigation.
